After 15 years of gym sessions, relentless training and high pressure competitions, Olympic Champion Sir Chris Hoy can finally kick back and enjoy cycling just for the fun of it. To celebrate, he’s teaming up with Evans Cycles and will be attempting to connect people from up and down the UK, encouraging them to share their experiences of riding their bikes in the summer.
Every fortnight until mid August Sir Chris will be setting a new #ridesummer competition with a twist. Everything from a UK wide treasure hunt for hidden cycling gloves, to a special competition featuring our very own #ridesummer water bottles, that can be picked up from any Evans Cycles store.
With the help of our exclusive #ridesummer Instagram powered map of the UK, cyclists all over the country can share their photos to win fantastic prizes, including rides with Sir Chris, brand new HOY Bikes, summer riding bundles, tickets to an exclusive cycle cinema and a velodrome lesson with Sir Chris.
