Spine and Sports Chiro to Host Fitness Lecture

“It’s my goal to get people off prescriptions and off a surgical table and back to functioning at 100 percent.” That’s according to Dr. Tim Dunne who is hosting a free fitness lecture at 6 PM Tuesday, July 30 at his office at 215 East Watauga, Suite 100 in Johnson City. Dr. Tim Dunne, who co-owns the chiropractic practice with his wife, Dr. Cindy Dunne, says, “Health comes from your body and not from medications or procedures.”

“Ultimately there is an easy-to-follow recipe for a healthy lifestyle.  Get more oxygen to your brain with healthy chiropractic, drink mineralized water, eat alkaline food, exercise six times per week, get massage, wear orthotics, sleep on a good mattress and have a daily meditation/prayer time,” he says. Dr. Dunne adds, “Health is defined in Dorland’s Medical Text as ‘functioning at or near 100%.’ The first system developed from conception is the Central Nervous System comprising the brain and spine. Every cell in your body requires nerves and blood, without nerves it is called paralysis and without blood it is called necrosis. Chiropractic maintains the brain to cell connection allowing normal communication and normal function.”

Dr. Dunne is available for health centered lunch and learns and health screenings for area churches and businesses interested in promoting a healthy lifestyle for their workforce and congregations. For more information “like” Spine & Sports Chiro on Facebook.
