Oregon Films and Pushplay Produce “Sports Video Of The Year”



Oregon Films and Pushplay Productions were nominated for a College Sports video award for their work on the 2009 Football Season Highlight video. Oregon Films, headed by Producer Steve Pohl and the Pushplay team, lead by Director/Producer Jayson Bosteder took home the College Sports Media Award (CSMA) in the Collegiate 1: Special Feature category for their work on the University of Oregon 2009 Football Season Highlights Video.

Along with winning in their category, the Oregon Films/Pushplay Productions team was the overall winner, taking home the 2010 College Sports Video of the Year award, which included entries from commercial television networks. The awards were announced at the College Sports Video Summit in Atlanta, Georgia June 8-9, sponsored by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and the Sports Video Group (SVG). 2010 College Sports Media Awards.


The college sports video marketplace is divided by the College Sports Media Awards into three categories (Collegiate 1 for schools and conferences that compete in Division 1 football; Collegiate 2 for all other schools and their conferences; Corporate/Media for broadcasters and advertising agencies), each featuring the best live events, special features, and promotional videos.


Over 130 entries were submitted to the three categories representing outstanding college sports video productions from universities and colleges across the country, along with commercial college sports videos produced by major television networks and ad agencies. However Oregon, the University of Miami, and Fairfield University were the only Division I schools honored with nominations in two of the three categories.
